Hacking DS ROMs Freeze? (M3DS Real)

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I don't know if it's a problem w/ the ROM or the M3DS Real or the memory card I got.

I have a M3DS Real, a 4GB Kingston (Made in Japan) microSDHC card & the My Word Cocah (E) ROM. Or @ least that's how the ROM is labeled...

I just got this lovely contraption (I know I sound about 60 when I say that... ) & when I try to play My Word Cocah on it, it seems to work fine.

Except when I try to play Pasta Letters - right after the game instructions, it freezes! The rest of the game seems to work well, though.

Are there any suggestions I can try or steps I can take to fix this?

Well, in both cases you're in the wrong forum

Anyway: did you try turning options like Soft Reset off? And did you try starting the game with the Y-button?

Pasta Letters mucks up with soft-reset on, so its likely to be that.
