I'm still wondering why gbatemp consider a DSi enhanced game like a DSi game.
This numbering is tied to gbatemp only.

BTW costello, are you sure this tool use the gbatemp numbering and not advanscene.com one ?

Ps : the author of this tool is pka4916 , you should modify filetrip. ;)

Is there any chance of a Linux native version? If not, how successful would running it on Wine be? I don't really use it that much but from what I've heard it doesn't have USB support which would severely limit a ROM Manager's usefulness to me as a counterpart to my R4.

Very nice! I'll try it soon, maybe it'll replace RToolDS as my main ROM manager.

Thanks for the heads up, Costy
The DS-Scene Rom Tool has a ROM collection manager now as well, though it's still in public beta so there are definitely bugs.

/shameless advertising

Just run Windows in a VirtualBox and run the app from there.

Can someone enlighten me as to what this is actually useful for? (unless you're a complete noob at flashcart files etc.)

DSROU4 is a DS/GBA/PSP/PSN ROM Collection Manager. It is similar to Offline List (OLL). OLL's development ended in 2006, though OLL DATs are still used today. DSROU4 hopes to completely replace OLL some day. It looks to be doing a good job of what it's advertised to do.

..

BUG Note: I found that while I can enter in a custom directory on another drive, "M:\Emulators\Nintendo.DS\GAMES\Images" for example, for Image covers/icons/nfo files, DSROU4 always ignores them and uses "C:\Program Files (x86)\DS ROM Organizer 4\images\" instead.

It's using the advanscene numbering, that's being used by all other programs.
All upcoming console(s) are using the gbatemp numbering.

regarding the bug, that's news to me. It still creates the default folders, as a backup, but it should use all the other folders that are set in the setup.
I will take a look at that.

Also, if you set the folder to USB, or whatever, it will just use the USB..
Im having it on a Mem stick as well, so I can run it from there, to show others

Kinda of a necro bump I guess.

Hey there, using the latest version of this great ROM organizer.

I really just want it to be able to rename all my files in a standard way. e.g. 0001 - Ace Detective - (U).nds

So when I right click on a ROM in the list and click rename, a progress bar pops up very briefly then goes away. Nothing gets renamed and there are no renamed copies anywhere.

I tried running with administrator access, still not luck.

Any idea how to get it to rename?
