Yeah, moonbooks is pretty good. Not a lot of contemporary stuff, but a lot of classical writings. You know, Plato and Shakespeare, among others.
If they were made before 1923, then you can try the Gutenberg website and you should be able to find it. Otherwise you'd have to do some searching as they'd still be under copyright.
I thought so, but there is a style the write in that divides the chapter I believe...Not sure. Was gonna ask if anyone knew where I could get something like harry potter or eragon.
Telling you where to get a *.txt copy of Harry Potter would be like linking you to roms. Copyright is copyright, no matter what the format. Even if you get an electronic version you'd have to pay for it, and it would likely be in a format that would be difficult to convert to plain *.txt format for DS Reader to use.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
