Hardware DS Phat Screen on GBA

Can you use a DS Phat's or DS Lite's screen for a replacement screen for the GBA? I found this on another forum, but it seems he never got to it...

Connectors are completely different, IIRC. And they're probably also electrically incompatible.

Prepare yourself for a massive head-ache, and arm yourself with a lot of electronical knowledge and a great soldering iron.

Best off buying an AGS 101. It would probably be easier trying to cram an AGS 101 into a classic GBA case than trying to transplant a DS screen however stuff like this has been done with custom handhelds like SNES and Atari 2600 and N64's built out of full size consoles. Here's something interesting I found. If you look at the board in the customer images section it looks like the ribbon cable for the screen would fit a game boy.
