Hacking DS Lites back in stock?

now that the christmas and shopping season is over..
are there still a shortage of ds lites?

at places say walmart, target, etc?
how often do they restock?

Sunday afternoon at my local Wal-Mart they suddenly had about 6 DS Lites in stock. A few of the surrounding Wal-Marts said that the DS Lite (as well as the Wii) had been deleted from their inventories, but after calling today they are expecting to receive more within the next day or two. I'm not sure what really happened there.... Since the holidays are over I would definitely expect the inventories to return. Most Wal-Marts receive shipments each weekday (depending on the size of the store and location).

In the US they're quite scarce at the moment. They should ship the Cdn stocks to the US. We seem to have too many.

In UK couldnt buy one anywhere but Ebay from start of december

Here in Belgium, I got one by chance in a store, but then I noticed that in other stores there were plenty of them, just not the pink ones....

Toronto was sold out of everything but pink ones in most stores for a few weeks before Christmas.

Yea Canadian retailers even online have no shortage of DS Lites, but I cannot get amazon.ca to send me one and the only places that will would charge me as much as ebay >(.

yeah this thread is more for the US.. i dont think there is shortages anywhere else
but this is scary,.
and i heard some people say that shops wont get restocked until end of january!?

It's still hit and miss over here in the UK, especially with black. Some stores have them, some dont. Our local Argos has them, but I'm trying to get one from Game cause they're offering a free copy of Monkey Ball. Wish me luck

Down here some seem to be enough whites... for now. Black is impossible to find, and pink is rare. People seem to be going with the phat nowadays, too...

Same here when I checked some days ago. Several shops had white DSLs, but all had black ones sold out
