Gaming DS lite screen changing with R4 for emulators

Hello, im new to this forum, and i wuold ask if somebody can explain how to change from top screen to bottom without tuoching the screen, just with codes or config, because im doing a project where i need 1 screen (bottom) without touchscreen. Tried many things. In NesDS somebody told just to change one line of code (about screen position) from 0 to 1, but that didnt helped. I wuold be so happy if somebody could help me. Most important emulators for my project are NesDS and Lameboy.
