DS Lite L & R Corner Buttons on the mobo

    hihi, im trying to attach the following pieces to the mobo of my ds lite (http://www.nintendoparts.com.au/ds-lite-other-parts/ds-lite-l-r-corner-buttons) but i have no idea how. basically, i was fixing the top screen and knocked off the left one by accident, and i have absolutely no idea how to put it back.

    help is much appreciated, thx!

    They solder on, with the button pad facing the top screen. 3 contacts and 4 posts to solder, it looks like.

    Just looked at mine (have an unused set layin around) and yes, that is what it looks like. But unless you have a VERY steady hand and a very fine soldering iron, good luck... dude, these things are more or less the size of a grain of rice. The pic on that website is about 6x their real size.

    Also, if you need to buy new ones, go with these (if you can stand the wait. Ordering from an au site probably isn't gonna get to you much faster though.) - http://www.dealextreme.com/p/repair-parts-...piece-set-13264

    ah yea, i only picked that site cuz the owner made a bunch of ds tutorial videos that i followed. worked pretty well too, managed to replace both my top and bottom screen. my L button originally worked too, but i accidentally knocked it off while fixing one of the screens.

    but yea, thanks for the help man!
