I have a DS Lite with a Super Card Lite (slot-2) and I've almost searched everywhere for a solution. It's old so it already has games(not sure how though), but I want to add new games but the only solution I have seen so far is using a PassMe or FlashMe, both of which I do not have. One other solution would be getting a slot-1cart but I want to keep using the Super Card Lite, even though it may be harder to accomplish. I'm open to both solutions, but I would prefer to keep the Super Card Lite. Can I still get PassMe anymore, or is there a way to bypass it? (I know bypassing it seems impossible without the use of FlashMe)

Is there a way to use cheats for gba games in twilight menu?
No. You can only use cheats for DS games.

You don't need to use a Passcard, PassMe adapter, or Super Key to use PassMe. Alternatively, if you have a NDS (original or lite) model, installing the FlashMe firmware is your best bet. Go for the stealth version if you want to retain the DS home menu.

I have a flashcard, I could put the game's ROM in it
what the exploit might be able to do when running the game in ds mode on a flashcart isnt anything more than the flashcart can already do by itself

did you need it for something, or just curiosity? because the exploit isn't really able to do anything besides getting your dsi card identifier, which isnt going to work when you run the game in ds mode from a flashcart (and you can already get card identifier by so many other methods these days)

you wouldnt get console id from biggest loser exploit regardless

console id and cid are two different things, yeah the way they named them is confusing but cid stands for card identifier which is a different thing

in layman terms console id is a console-unique key for the cpu, the cid is a console-unique key for the emmc (nand)

http://www.problemkaputt.de/gbatek-dsi-console-ids.htm

use this to view console id and cid:

https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/SafeNANDManager/releases/download/v1.1.1/SafeNANDManager.nds

you never got an adapter for microsd cards? usually microsd cards come with one, but maybe in your country they dont

(that, and if you got the microsd cards secondhand, it probably wouldnt come with the adapter)

If you are using a SD card adapter, those can go bad. Even though your computer can see it, something about the fault prevents it some working on the DSi.

So I managed to get a slot-1 flashcart for dirt cheap, and got Godmode9i set up on it, but... I still can't access my WarioWare DIY save. I'm using the latest version of Godmode9i (3.6) and following the procedure at the bottom of the page here: [I can't seem to bypass the link blocking no matter how I mangle the URL, but the page is "Godmode9i FAQ & Troubleshooting" on the DS-Homebrew wiki]

When I use a normal DS game (without the weird NAND save chip) I can back up the save to the GBA cart, and then to my flashcart's SD card, just fine. However when trying to do it with WarioWare, instead of showing the game title it asks "Dump 'NO-TITLE_NONE00_FF' to GBA cart?" and only has an "All" option, without the menu entry to dump just the save. Attempting the dump doesn't actually seem to do anything, and when trying to retrieve the data from the GBA cart Godmode9i doesn't recognize there being any DS data saved on it.

I know Godmode9i was supposed to have gotten support for NAND cartridges a few years ago, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. How do I get it to correctly recognize the WWDIY cartridge and data? Is it just not possible to back up those cartridges using the GBA save method? I don't have a DSi or a passcard for my EZFlash IV so as far as I'm aware the GBA cartridge method for save dumping is my only option right now.

it doesn't seem like it's reading your game correctly, if it cant even read the internal title and game id

if everything else reads and plays it fine, you would be better off asking on github: https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/GodMode9i/issues

or on discord if you're into that: https://discord.gg/fCzqcWteC4

maybe even the godmode9i thread itself: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-godmode9i-all-access-file-browser-for-the-ds-i-and-3ds.520096/

someone (probably robz) will probably see your question here eventually, but you might be able to get help quicker if you ask at the source instead of a general thread not affiliated with the project

afaik, @Pk11 has implemented NAND save dumping, so she'd probably know.

Sorry for the late reply, GM9i doesn't support NAND saves on DS because they're simply too large to be practical. With the way it's implemented you'd probably need like 30 GBA carts so I just made it not allowed.

Kinda odd that it's showing NO-TITLE_NONE cause it should at least recognize the cart, but I never bothered testing since I didn't plan to implement it so it probably just needs some small tweak to the cart init code or the like to get that working.

To make anything actually practical for dumping NAND carts though you'd really need to add support to one of the FTP-based dump apps.

So, I have one of these r4isdhc.com 2019 Dual-Core Real Time Save flashcards (labeled 2019 and dual core instead of 2021 and smart update) and i'd want to restore the firmware it had before I installed twl menu in it after I get to actually mod my dsi, but the default firmware of the flashcard for some reason makes the save files on the games delete themselves, has a timebomb and I dont think any of the r4isdhc.com firmwares included in the flashcart archive is the correct one. So, which one is it?

You've got the R4i-SDHC DEMON flashcarts that are known to have a 'timebomb' built into the stock kernel.

TWiLight Menu++ or YSMenu will work just fine with this cart. Or, if you meant 'firmware' as in the cart's SPI flash chip, then I can send you a dump from one of mine.

I'd prefer the SPI flash chip dump, thx
