Which nds-bootstrap version are you using then?
Sorry for not writing all that stuff right from the beginning. I've updated the whole package, I should be using the latest version of everything. Deleted all the old files and placed the latest updates from the github onto the SD. bootstrap version is v2.3.3

Could there be a issue with gameyob in the latest release?

Tried to run Pokemon Yellow on it (R4iLS Clone) and when I press new game it just crashes, Red and Blue on the other hand seem to work tho.

It's working perfectly fine for me with zero issues. I would suggest you redownload the yellow rom and try again as it sounds like your yellow rom my be faulty

First thing I did, still doesn't wanna work.

Also tried to just use the Ace3DS Wood firmware and run from that gameyob and the game works flawless there. (Would like to use the nicer Twilight UI tho)

EDIT: Well Google found me one single instance of the same error and using every weird way of finding the issue and that solved the issue in the end. The Name was too long, haha.

Apparently there are like 2 titles that crash on Gameyob in Twilight if named fully like "Pokemon - Yellow Edition - Special Pikachu Edition" yada yada that are too long and it crashes upon game start, the other one is the Pokemon Trading Card Game.

Hi, I can't access slot-1 from Twilight Menu with this flashcard (R4igold cc), but it used to work fine on an older version. Is there any way to fix this problem?

You can try updating TWiLight Menu++ on your system to see if that fixes the problem. If not, then you can follow the 'flashcart' instructions.

https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/twilightmenu/installing-flashcard

Download the latest "TWiLightMenu-Flashcard.7z" file and extract it with 7-Zip to a new folder. Open the "Autoboot" folder then locate the directory "r4igold.cc 3DS translucent" (if your card has a yellow shell and says "Wood Upgrade" on the label, use "Wood R4igold.cc Upgrade").

Open the directory, then copy the '_DS_MENU.DAT' file onto the root of your flashcart's microSD card. Then, copy the rest of the TWiLight Menu++ files (excluding "Autoboot" and "Flashcart Loader" directories) onto the root.

If the cart doesn't boot into TWL++, it's likely that the flashcart was blacklisted by a later 3DS/DSi update to which you need to install Luma3DS (3DS) or Unlaunch (DSi) custom firmware. Or, it may be due to the fact that your cart was bricked. R4iTT Acekard/DSTTi clones are known to be defective after several uses.

Which version did it last work on, and which version did it start to break?
Honestly, I couldn't tell you exactly when exactly stopped working. When I updated Twilight menu, I replaced the slot1 file with the old one and it worked fine.

But the corresponding version of this slot1lauch file is v26.1.1

v27.12.4: (Late) New Year's Release
Includes nds-bootstrap v2.4.0 (GBATemp thread)

What's new?

  • Added support for nested skin folders (ex. `../themes/Dark/Dark/` instead of `../themes/Dark/`).
    • Though not recommended to have the skin folder(s) nested, this feature was mainly added as a noob-proof measure for skin installation.
  • Various: Updated translations.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed unsaved per-game settings reloading when opening cheat menu.
  • DSi-based themes: Fixed progress bar length sometimes going past the progress icon.
