Sorry to ask, but what is an AP-patch, which roms need it and where can I find them ?

AP patch is anti piracy. A large number of ds games need them. And you will find them in the link I provided on page 105 of this very thread.

So I followed the guide but used an 8gb sd card so I autobooted DSiMenu++. When I launch DSiMenu++ it takes me to the folders on my sd card instead of dsiware or roms. Pressing down does nothing and I cant use the touch screen to control either. Any suggestions?

Hi, I've got two "new" 3ds, following the guide i've got one working on the XL variant, I launch the DSi via the homebrew menu - is there a way to launch via XMB or the home menu - the second variant worked first time, though now it closes straight away after opening, I've tried to reinstall the CIA (https://3ds.hacks.guide/troubleshooting#dsi--ds-functionality-is-broken-after-completing-the-guide), but no joy. is there another config file I can look at? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to navigate to the folders with your ROMs.

Hmm, I only know that Pokèmon games tend to be iffy with a lot of things... If someone else has tried it, that'd be nice to know.

Is there a cheat menu yet? I'm trying to run the disable SSL connection cheat with games like Pokemon White (nitrohax doesn't work with these games)

It's unable to save at all. It's an nds-bootstrap issue.

nds-bootstrap can use cheats, but it's best to just wait for a cheat GUI, which is low priority right now.

Well, wait, why not play off a patched ROM instead? Only problem there is the fact that you don't get your save data.... Yet.
