A nice month. Some large titles are dropping, hurrah. Also, side note, sorry about the crappy and differing picture sizes. I usually get most of my pictures from IGN (since the sizes are nice and right) but they were missing a lot. So most are from Google Images/Gamefaqs.

You can read the Wii version of this thread right <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=209652" target="_blank">here</a>

Some rules and stuff.

- No flaming. If I list a game you don't like, too bad. If I don't, too bad.
- This is mainly North American releases, sorry. I'll, on occasion, do a European or Japanese release if it's big enough and not already out in America.
- If a game is already released in English and is being released again for another region, I won't bother adding it. Like say if Super Mario Galaxy 2 was out in America in April (it won't) and it came out in May in Europe, I won't list it for May. I'll also do the same if a game was released in English (aka Europe or America) and is being released in Japan.
- I get my dates from GameFaqs, Wikipedia, and IGN, so if a date is wrong don't blame me. You can, of course, point it out and ask me to fix it if you have the right date.

<b>Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Game Freak
<b>Published by:</b> Nintendo (The Pokemon Company)
<b>Release date:</b> March 14th
<b>Genre</b>: RPG
<b>My Hype Level:</b> I really don't care. I already played the Japanese version
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> Jizzed in their pants

<img src="http://media.ign.com/games/image/object/143/14348189/Pokemon-SoulSilver_US_ESRBboxart_160w.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Really, I don't see what the hubbub is about. No, not because I hate Pokemon, but because I'm sure everyone here has played the Japanese versions through and through. Yay translation patches. I may give it another go since it'll be in English, but there's really not gonna be much pull after the Japanese versions. It's still an awesome game if you still like Pokemon or want a revamped trip down Nostalgia Lane, though.

<b>Infinite Space</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Platinum Games/Nude Maker
<b>Published by:</b> Sega
<b>Release date:</b> March 16th (America), March 23rd (Europe)
<b>Genre</b>: RPG
<b>My Hype Level:</b> ZOOOOOIIING
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> Not too much talk, but odds are it'll draw some attention

<img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kGAOBLrWIr4/SnibYPlMCcI/AAAAAAAAAD8/ln74YEzpPp8/s320/Infinite_Space_Cover.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Probably my most anticipated game this year. While I find the DS has tons of RPGs, I find it lacks really any diverse RPGs or good ones for that matter. Being a futuristic/sci-fi setting already puts Infinite Space out of the standard, boring RPGs, and it looks to be a valiant and huge effort for DS RPGs. It could fall flat, for all I know, but I would love to try this.

<b>Sonic Classic Collection</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Sega
<b>Published by:</b> Sega
<b>Release date:</b> March 2nd
<b>Genre</b>: Platformer
<b>My Hype Level:</b> It's Sonic
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> It's FUCKING Sonic

<img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/b4/Sonic_Classic_Collection_DS_AUS.jpg/250px-Sonic_Classic_Collection_DS_AUS.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

I actually suck pretty bad at older Sonic games, but I'll definitely try this out. Could this really be the Sonic compilation we've needed? Some previews have been promising with only minor issues, so hopefully the core games will turn out awesome. I know many of our elderly gamers are dying for this, so here's to you!

<b>Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Atlus/Lancarse
<b>Published by:</b> Atlus
<b>Release date:</b> March 23rd
<b>Genre:</b> RPG
<b>My Hype Level:</b> Not a fan of first person RPGs
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> OMG ITS AWESOME

<img src="http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/object/021/021493/Shin-Megami-Tensei-Strange-Journey_NDS_ESRBboxart_160w.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Not to be a party crasher, but I feel many of the people who were ecstatic with Devil Survivor will think this is the same. It's not. It's essentially a continuation of the ORIGINAL Shin Megami Tensei games, which are pretty different from Devil Survivor. Anyway, I think it's in first person and I'm not real fond of first person RPGs, but odds are I'll try it anyway. Looks like it could be good.

<b>WarioWare DIY</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Nintendo SPD 1/Intelligent Systems
<b>Published by:</b> Nintendo
<b>Release date:</b> March 28th
<b>Genre</b>: Mini-games
<b>My Hype Level:</b> I just came.
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> IDK, probably the same (I RHYMED!)

<img src="http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/object/142/14286495/Warioware-DIY_NDS_US_ESRBboxart_160w.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

WarioWare has always been the best way to do mini-games ever. Frantic, fast paced, hilarious, and heaping mountains of fun. Every WarioWare game I've played (so basically everyone outside of the Gamecube version) has been awesome, and this looks to push the game. Everything is based on creating your own games, from how they're played to graphics to sound. It's an ambitious creation project and I'm eager to see how it works.

<b>Dawn of Heroes</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Wicked Studious
<b>Published by:</b> Majesco
<b>Release date:</b> March 23rd
<b>Genre:</b> Strategy RPG
<b>My Hype Level:</b> I got sick of this genre a long time ago
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> Some minor buzz

<img src="http://media.ign.com/games/image/object/965/965792/Dawn-of-Heroes_US_BoxCover_E10boxart_160w.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

The DS gets way too many SRPG games, I'll say that right now. I lost all interest in the genre and odds of me ever coming back to it are slim. Well, anyway, the game is a pretty standard SRPG. Previews have been decently positive and showed that it's got some quirky dialogue and nice features, but I really don't see interest in it.

<b>Rooms: The Main Building</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Natsume
<b>Published by:</b> Hudson Soft
<b>Release date:</b> March 23rd
<b>Genre:</b> Adventure
<b>My Hype Level:</b> Not up my alley
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> Looks good

<img src="http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2003/all/boxshots2/972800_139729.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Meh, not too fond of point and click adventures and this seems like one of those. It may have some more puzzle aspects, but it still bores me. Some people do like the genre, however, but it's just not for everyone.

<b>Spectral Force Genesis</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Idea Factory
<b>Published by:</b> Ignition Entertainment
<b>Release date:</b> March 16th
<b>Genre:</b> Strategy RPG
<b>My Hype Level:</b> I told you, I'm sick of SRPGs
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> Some people are looking forward to it

<img src="http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2003/all/boxshots2/925594_121106.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

I told you the DS already had lots of SRPGs. Anyway, this is another Spectral Force game and I know some people are fond of them. Strategy and RPGs, I mean who knew they would've been such a smash?

<b>Picross 3-D</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> HAL Laboratory
<b>Published by:</b> Nintendo
<b>Release date:</b> March 5th (Europe)
<b>Genre:</b> Puzzle
<b>My Hype Level:</b> I fucking loved the Japanese version
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> IDK, everyone forgot

<img src="http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/object/142/14286483/Solid-Body-Picross_DS_JPboxart_160w.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

First off, release info provided by TestedInVN. Thanks, I missed this one.

I love this game so much more than classic Picross. It's numbingly addictive. I've played this game for hours at a time and I just love it. Luckily for us, we now get it in English, among other languages. There's still no American release date (that I know of), but who cares? It's FUCKING PICROSS 3D

<b>Deca Sports DS</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Hudson Soft
<b>Published by:</b> Hudson Soft
<b>Release date:</b> March 2nd (conflicting dates, though)
<b>Genre:</b> Sports
<b>My Hype Level:</b> Hmm
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> Shovel Sports?

<img src="http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2003/all/boxshots2/971080_137511.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

I'll probably get lampooned and be eating my words for saying this, but I'm actually looking forward to trying this game. That's right. Even though Deca Sports is the shovelware rip off of Wii Sports, the DS is lacking a diversity of sports games (we get golf, soccer, and [American] football, and that's about it) and this may be fun. Yet again, it could just prove the whole series is still shovel crap and I'll be disappointed.

<b>Birthday Bash: Guild McCommunist Edition</b>

<b>Developed by:</b> Guildware, Inc
<b>Published by:</b> Guildsoft
<b>Release date:</b> March 19th
<b>Genre:</b> Compilation
<b>My Hype Level:</b> HOLY SHIT
<b>GBAtemp Hype Level:</b> It better be "HOLY SHIT"

<img src="http://www.dryden.ca/UserFiles/Servers/Server_6/Image/Birthday%20Hat.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Looking forward to this! I grow yet another year older and another mindset younger. So, on March 19th, remember to send me many bundles of money and presents... Or at least a nice birthday thread. Go me!

<b>Other titles</b>

- Windy x Windham: 3/2
- Shepherd's Crossing 2: 3/9
- Stitch Jam: 3/23
- Squishy Tank: 3/23
- Bakugan Battle Trainer: 3/30
- Secret Files: Tunguska: 3/31
- Brave: Shaman's Challenge: 3/31

<b>Overall Summary</b>

A huge month. Pokemon, Infinite Space, Sonic Classic Collection, Shin Megami Tensei, and WarioWare DIY all headlining this party. We've also got some promising other games such as Dawn of Heroes, Rooms, and Spectral Force Genesis. Deca Sports DS may stick as shovelware, but who knows, it may be a nice sports compilation for a handheld that direly needs one.

While next month is nothing but a crap shoot compared to this one, there's still some big titles coming up. Again, another adventure game from the makers of Hotel Dusk, seems to please adventure fans, Monster Rancher takes us back to the once beloved franchise, Dementium seeks to make us shit our pants with all types of bodily fluids, and we've also got our oddball game in the way of Beat City.

Have a fun March everyone!

Only HG/SS for me... (I haven't played the translated one much, only up to the first gym XD)
I guess I may give the Sonic one a go if I've got nothing better to do.

Yay, I'm not the only one who did that and erased it to wait for the retail one XD

Rooms: The Main Building isn't a point and click adventure game. It's a puzzle game sort of like the sliding puzzles, but you have to slide the pieces around to get your character through the room.

The Miles Edgeworth game pretty much killed all my hype for the games coming out this month. I guess I'll try the Sonic Collection when it's out.

Looks like a decent month, WarioWare, Utacchi and maybe Pokemon, though I doubt I'll it, grew tired of Pokemon RPGs.
