There is no relation to the movie Sands of Time. This game is a direct sequel to the Prince of Persia 2001 reboot Sands of Time (which the movie was based on). That in itself was continued with Warrior Within and Two Thrones i believe. Forgotten Sands (this game) happens between Sands of Time and Warrior Within. Confusing yes, but it's not based on the movie at all.

This game got very crappy reviews, DS version at least. The Wii and HD versions are apparently all worth playing and great, but the DS version has received some high hatred. I haven't played any of them yet, but just saying. Probably best to avoid the DS version.

thats what they are saying but he looks just like the movie prince. Also kinda funny we get this game after the reboot game. Just sayin.
