it says on the boxart, DSi "enhanced" (the usual get-in-the-game-by-making-a-photo-of-yourself enhancement)

From the box art, I can assume it's a port of a flash game AND combined of part horrible graphics part possibly fun gameplay (not for me, though).

I'm not even going to try this out unless someone ports Sushi Cat to the DS. Seriously. I want my first taste of DS sushi-based gameplay to be with Sushi Cat, not a game I don't think I'll like.

YES! Sushi-Go-Round! The Miniclip version was pretty good, but I couldn't find out how to cut the salmon, so I failed miserably. [IMG]

Now to bring discussion back to the game itself:

There are only a handful of sushi recipes, only 6 ingredients, and the game seems to think California Rolls are made with fish roe and not crab meat, but I like this game. I would have never paid 30 or even 20 bucks for it. But as a fun time killer of a cart next to more length games, this is the perfect "pick up and play while in a waiting room"-type game.

I'd love to see someone make a game not unlike Fast Food Panic that combines this game's Diner Dash-mechanic (the Sushi-Go-Round itself) with Sushi Academy's larger recipes and Cooking Mama-style food preparation.

This game is so much fun that I couldn't stop playing it for hours.. but it's so frustrating when you reached day 30+ and the game goes crazy fast, and mixing the ingredients gets confusing till you lose...you're only given 3 lives and no extra lives, no additional enhancements, customers get inpatient real fast yet the sushi belt is sooooooo slow and so if you lose you'd have to start from the beginning.

But it's a good time killer if you need something to keep you busy for a while when you're bored.
