Hacking DS Download service "safe" on softmodded wii?

My wii has:

System V4.3,
cIOS v21 d2x2 >ios 249 &250,
CFG USB loader fowarder.
Wii media channel.
Homebrew Chanel
Bootmii as Boot2
Priiloader, with move disk channel, no disk updates, no system updates, enabled
Custom theme with ThemeMii and MyMenuify GUI
Patched IOS 36 installed as IOS 236
Patched IOS 36 in IOS 36

Is it safe to use the Nintendo Channel DS download service? They want you to enable updating them about what you do, or something.
Is there a way to hack around it and use it anyway if not?

You can do whatever you want with the Nintendo Channel. It's safe.

Yea, Nintendo Channel is perfectly safe. I use it all the time (even the DS Download)

If Nintendo really wanted to, they could use the Nintendo channel to detect if you've been using homebrew and ban you from their Wi-Fi. They don't, and they won't, so don't worry about it.
