DS-DOS Version .50 released
auto-dldi amongst other fixes.
wolped has continued work on his DS-DOS project, a small command line driven cart management application.

dos2.png

-Auto DLDI-patching
-dropped Bootlib
-added chishm's exec_stub
-no longer tries to boot if nothing is typed
fixed "cd"

[title:Program readme]DS-DOS is a first filebrowser of it's kind. This text-based application will allow
you to view/copy/move/delete/rename files on your memory card or built-in memory.
It also allows you to boot other .nds binaries (users of certain cards may have
trouble with this). Don't forget to DLDI patch it.

Currently Implemented Commands (case-sensitive)
date displays the date
time displays the time
cls clears the screen
help displays help
ver displays DS-DOS version
del allows deleting of files
copy allows copying of files
move allows moving of files
ren allows renaming of files
dir displays a list of files and directories in current directory
cd change the current directory "\music"
lock locks the filesystem, preventing use of del/copy/move/ren
ulok unlocks the filesystem allowing use of del/copy/move/ren

To boot any .nds file, just type the filename (myndsfile.nds). If it is currently
in a folder, you will have to type the full path unless the folder it resides in
is the current working directory (folder\myndsfile.nds).

To use the extra device, you must have a dldi file called "fat3.dldi", which is a
renamed dldi file of the other device you want to use. To boot an .nds file on the
other device, you would type "fat3:\myndsfile.nds". Copying, renaming, moving, and
deleting all work this same way.

Thanks to: TeenDev for bootlib; Chishm for libfat; cornaljoe for character fix:
Everyone involved with devkitPro and PAlib; And to all Nintendo DS homebrewers.

Sorry I forgot to mention the site had not been updated. The version there is .50

@Szyslak most corruption I have seen with apps in general tends to stem from people using FAT32, try FAT16 if you are worried although I have not read of any problems in the various places this has been posted.

You can also check DSBrowser for dual browsing as i mentionned earlier.

Wow guys, I'm glad some people actually like this. Also thanks for pointing out that I didn't update the website (it was 4am), that's usually the last part I think about.

How long is it supposed to say "Starting DS-DOS..." until it loads? It seems to be stuck on that screen on DSTT and R4.

edit: I got another DLDI file for Supercard Lite and now it loads, but I don't know how to switch to the slot 2 directory. "fat3:" isn't changing the directory on DSTT. On R4, DS-DOS finishes loading now but I can't type anything even though the cursor is blinking.

Here's the fat3.dldi file I'm using. I have a Supercard Lite microsd non-rumble.
