Iv'e been looking around have yet to find anything mentioning on how people are backing-up the actual DS Carts themselves, Is this possible? I remember a Flash cable in the past for The flash2advance cards but have yet to see anything for the DS? Is there any type of cable that can connect to the Lite w/R4 DS card loaded and move them back, Obviously somebody is doing it otherwise there woudldn't be so many roms floating around.

The M3 Perfect (a slot-2 device) is able to do this with a dump program once included in a firmware (i think it was 18). I still haven't seen any dumpers for Slot-1 devices, but the reason for that is quite obvious.

I think that releasegroups like legacy use custom made dumpers, i might be wrong though.
