Just one...why can't the release just ONE Case Closed/Detective Conan game in America? WHY?!?!?!

I was going to say exactly what phoenixgoddess said, but I figured this wasn't the thread for it.

In fact, I could argue both sides of the manga/comic/anime/cartoon debate. Another side of the argument is that the meanings of the words "manga" and "anime" have evolved in Western culture to refer specifically to the Japanese style. It's like how we don't translate "ramen" into "noodles" but just call it "ramen" in English because it's...Japanese (it's actually Chinese if you want to get technical, but meh). The Japanese have a word for "slim," and that's "????" (sumaato, from the English word "smart"). How "smart" came to mean "slim" for the Japanese is beyond me, but that's their word for it, even if we say it's wrong. We may be wrong (according to the Japanese) about "manga" and "anime" being different from "comics" and "cartoons," but that's what the meaning has evolved into for Westerners.

Frankly, I couldn't give a rat's ass either way. The point I made above is not how I feel, it's just to show that there's another side to the argument. Arguing semantics is useless because there's no correct answer, only the individual's interpretation. Let's not derail this topic any further, please. I tried to steer it back on track with my translation, but it seems that people are more interested in semantics than they are about the game.

To the other mods, I'm sorry for contributing to the derailing. I just wanted to give people another perspective to think about, but if anyone wants to delete all of these off-topic posts (including mine), feel free to do it

It should be noted that the title Aoki Houseki no Rinbukyoku is incorrect. It should be Aoki Houseki no Rondo. It's hard to believe that none of the release groups have any means to double-check the titles of Japanese releases...a lot of them are wrong.

Ok to get away from all the semantics of flaming over what is a comic/manga/anime/cartoon/tomato/potato/etc

Has anyone actually TRIED the game yet? I'm trying with my Acekard2 on AKAIO1.8.7 and it gets to the title screen but freezes once you press A. Is there a patch?
