That will be super awesome~. From a quick look, the file format looks very similar to Conan and Kindaichi game, so you might be able to reuse the program. (And yeah, they are still using the font with 4 layers. But hopefully, you can reuse it as well.)

Some of it looks redundant because Conan is just basically saying the words that flash on the screen, but I translated both Conan's voiceover and the on-screen text. Hope this helps.

But back on topic, hehe, it's awesome to see the trailer translated! Thanks, Densetsu! Now I'm even more curious about it, just imagine the different playthroughs you could have with different combinations of characters.

While probably valid about 10 years ago, I think culturally things have been merging for a few things. I think it's ok to sorta mix the manga/comic thing as simply being a different term for the same thing. on both sides of the Pacific, the medium has been used for both comical and serious topics just as much as regular 'books'. I guess some people might prefer the use of 'graphic novel' but I think that was again to get around the stigma of 'comic' from the 60s. I don't think 'comic' has as much baggage as it used to even in the mainstream consiousness.

I suppose cartoon still has the stigma though, which is why they pefer to call them 'animated film/features'! But I think in this forum we all agree that 'cartoon' and 'anime' encompass the broad range of themes that the medium provides. I agree that 'cartoon' still has a lot of negative baggage that's probably a bit hard to kick. But I don't think anyone here uses it in negative way. It's simply an encompassing term.

Well it's always been one of my pet peeves when someone calls anime "cartoons" and manga "comics". The main reason being if you take them from their roots, they're 2 completely styles. Traditionally, that is. I guess I'm sort of being a purist, and it's grown on me. Sorry for the lash out.
