I kinda meant the units and perspective in which you play the game, but whatever. Its the first thing that popped to my mind when I saw it.

    I expected a beyblade-like game. [IMG]

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MOAR LEGO games. They will never end...

I guess since nobody buys ACTUAL LEGOs anymore this is their only way to make cash?

LEGO turned shit a couple years ago.
They keep removing series, and then re-brand them, put stupid details everywhere, and release them 2 years later.
    I miss classic LEGOs.

Lego Starwars III, I'm playing on the 360 has to be the most awesome father/son game we have ever played. It is the only Lego game so far that is fun enough to actually be bothered to go back and collect all the mini kit.

    The best so far IMO.

Kinda feel the same way about the DS version, though not to the point of going back to collect the kits, at least not yet anyway. But yeah, for me it's the most polished one. The formulas and level design are tighter than any previous LEGO games, in my opinion.

This game, though, is pretty different. There was one like it that came out a while back. It was surprisingly good. There were still some issues, however, with the pathing and UI. I look forward to checking this one out.

So close and yet so far away.
"And become the undisputed master of SPINJITSU!!"

Now that should make everyone want to play this game! [IMG] Seriously.

But it looks fun, I like the ninjas, though it's strange how they have yet another lego ninja series, though with a different name.

it seems to be their second game in this category. The last one (battles was it?) was quite fun but had smaller chars and more tribes/classes whatever u call them.
I think this trailer shows less about the gameplay, and doesnt totally seem to match an RTS or similar

My two sons have played the first LEGO Battles for hours and hours. This new one is a bit different in the gameplay and graphical style, but it seems already now after a couple of hours of gameplay that it will be a great success with the kids as well.

BTW, it is not in the GBAtemp release database yet, but there is also a dump of the EUR version out. My kids are playing it right now, and it works fine on Acekard 2i with latest version of AKAIO, just as the US version from Bahamut. Languages in the EUR version (game code BVYP) are English, Francais, Espanol, Italiano, Deutsch, Dansk, Nederlands.

EDIT: The EUR version is nuked on various pre-sites due to wrong .rar chunk sizes used by the release group when packaging the release!!

Wow I notice LEGO Star Wars III getting alot of praise, is it THAT good?? I've played all LEGO games so far, but haven't tried LEGO SW III, because I thought "meh, same old crap". Is it really worth checking guys?? I own a Wii and DS, so which would be ideal? xD

On-topic- This one doesn't suit my taste [IMG]

the european version is not part of the lego battles series(just ninjago the game)
it does play a bit like RTS(select units, tap where they have to go) and it even has multiplayer skirmish battles.
    graphics are very GBA-level 2D.
there's also a limited edition, which comes with a bigger box around the regular box and a blue lego ninja with a "silver"(grey) sword(actual lego).
it was cheaper than i expected at €30 for the limited edition.
anything other than obscure titles and brandless shovelware often goes at €40 initially, or €45-€50 for limited editions.
