It's a nice list but...

Bram Stocker - Dracula
Irving Washington - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Those two looks kind of weird for kids to be reading... Well I have only seen the movies so I don't know what kind of languace it uses so I hope Im wrong

There are quite a few books in there that I would still read as a 27 year old. The 'Junior' title is not justified.

Also, if a book is a real classic, surely it would be accessible to all?

just because you'd read it at 27 doesn't mean its not part of a junior collection.
some do seem a bit older than 'junior' may suggest but plenty are ok for preteens.
compare with the other collection and yes its junior.

Yeah, right, but... moby dick? It's a masterpiece that few adults can grasp, let alone kids... anyway, the more great books the better (although I have an ebook reader and would never read on DS anymore)

too bad The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery would probably never make its way into one of these titles... I still love my ragged paperback, and it'd be one of the things i'd keep in my person come rapture or some other disastrous whatnots.

and i'd love to see Jonathan Livingston Seagull there as well.
