Working and saving fine on CycloDS B.4.

Forget about the fact that it's a Sims game and just think, "airplane shooter" and you'll have more fun. Anyone who likes flight games should like this. Plays using dpad & buttons. Seems to control well. Environments aren't the most detailed I've seen, but they get the job done as long as you don't get too close to anything.

For me, this game is a surprising bit of happiness.....love my flying bang-bang games! I was bummed when Ninty canned DS Air (Jet Impulse) in USA, but now I have this to play instead. I'll take it!

Yeah, just going by the title alone, I kinda held out some hope that it would be a decent flight game. I have to admit, though, I'm disappointed it doesn't control with the stylus. I know you generally feel the exact opposite about most DS games, but I thought SFC did such a great job in that respect. Still looking forward to checking this out, nonetheless.

NO, I DO NOT LIKE IT.

    Confirms: SCDSTWO saves fine etc.

Edit: are there any other fps flight games for the ds? Something like this but then with real planes?

The only other flying games that are even remotely like this are Top Gun and Jet Impulse......I don't think there were really any others that were worth bothering with.

EDIT: Time Ace was more of an on-rails flying shooter, but there's that one too.

Ran through really quick on DeSmuMe, it can choose between Inverted controls (Up is down and Down is up) or Normal controls (Up is up and Down is down). All is done with the physical controls, no stylus. You can do barrels rols left and right and somersaults front and back. You can use boost for a certain period of time or brake mid-air. You can also shoot things down.

I like the game so far [IMG]

Tried it on my Acekard2i. Black screen just after the profile and intro.

Acekard 2i, works fine, eeexcept missions stop unlocking after "Train Us In Your Ways". Plays through, behaves nicely, just doesn't open up a subsequent mission. *scratches head* This is like fifteen missions in.

Are you sure this isn't a game barrier that you somehow need to overcome, instead of a firmware problem?

Pretty sure - gold medal rank, perfect score, etc. The mission itself is just a tutorial to a get-the-ball-in-the-goal gametype so it's not difficult.
