Hmm I thought I already had this for a while..
Anyway, it's an awesome board game.

Imagine, a RTS, but then as a board game.

I hope the DS game is any good, the PC version I had years ago was pretty cool [IMG]

Oh, and the language is wrong, it's dutch, not japanese [IMG]

Looks a bit like Shogun Empires. I've kind of been on a kick with these types of games lately, so good timing for me.

At least Europe is on the ball with releases. Can't say the same for USA releases lately.

The European version came out a while ago.

This game is awesome, I own the actual board game. It's basically just a complex board game. It's won quite a few awards and is a lot of fun to play. I hit up a game with my dad now and then. Carcassone is also really worth checking out.

    Not shovelware.

Dutch only. Catan (E) was English / German. Release 3908.

Ah, cool. Thanks for the clarification on that. I'll look for that version instead. Sounds like something I can get into.

It's a great game (the english one) and it starts with the original board and transitions slowly to seafarers, but once you get kinda far into the game the computer players always target you with the robber. And it seems like they get him a lot...

I also own the original board game (and Carcassonne) and they are really great fun with a few mates, and some beers on a weekend.

I have played the English version all the way through several times and would still be playing if Puzzle Quest 2 wasn't so addictive
