Screens don't seem to work now but its not just the game in the video, there are loads of others.
woah fails well it s a good game i have test it it is like an action game
Thanks Gaydrian... please, don't answer me or you'll get your 13,000 post!!!
This game looks very Buck O'Hare-ish.
This is a compilation of games. From what I understand, some of them were previously DSiWare.
Wow, they look pretty interesting. Gonna give it a shot.
Wow, looks sweet. They dont make enough games like this anymore.
That game in the video (Variable Arms?) looks fun! It's what a transformers game should be
Great retro music also. Gonna check this out. Woo!
Has lots of nice old school games.
You know, I just watched the vid and that looky sorta lika Turrican I didn't unlock all the games yet. The few games I've played on it so far were all quite different from each other. I read over at DS-Scene that there's like 30 games total and around 15 of them are DSiWare games that work on a regular DS....thanks to this compilation.
There's a lot of Japanese....you won't be able to read the instructions for the various games, for example, along with other little details. Plenty of things things are in English though, at least enough for you to be able to play it without really needing to know Japanese. The few game I played weren't hard to figure out.
I had to apply the patch to it for it to work on my CycloDS (B.2).
Now we need an "unlock all games", or maybe a "max money" cheat code......I don't wanna play the games I don't like, just so I can unlock the ones I might like.
I think there will be a few games in this compilation that I'll like. It has that old-school charm to the various games, but with improved graphics.
It would be great if they brought this to America....or at least Europe, and it contained English as a selectable language. I really hate looking at a language I can't read, you know what I mean?
We need more games like this, did seem like we were getting loads of old school stuff and then they just stuffed. Probably because of how poorly Retro Game Challenge did even though it got a lot of attention.
Will take a look, see how playable it is for someone who only understands enough Japanese to flirt with the cute Japanese girl at the local store. Assuming the patch works with Cyclo 1.58 stable, I'm staying clear of the latest firmware.
EDIT: It works, but I don't seem to be able to access any of the games. wtf? Everything's blank. And yes, I went to the shop to buy some games (a genuinely new experience for me ) but it just says 'sold out' on everything. Anyone else having this problem, and if so how do you get around the damn thing 'cause I'm intrigued by this.
The copy protection seems to be that everything is "sold out". You'll have to apply the "child's play patch".
You then start off with 4 games. You can unlock the rest by playing and getting credits.
It's fun so far and the controls of each game can be figured out pretty easily without any knowledge of japanese.
I DID apply the child's play patch. It gave me a file ending in .bak, I renamed it .nds, put in on my card, no games. wtf? You sure the patch works 'cause it didn't do a damn thing for me. I get given 60K at the start of the game but nothing's available.
EDIT: Never mind, fixed it. Bit of a blonde moment. I assumed the newly created .bak file was the patched file, after transferring the original .nds onto my card following the patch it seems to be working.
Looks like a Blaster Master clone.
great i was hyped for this game
they need to do this with the art style games on dsi ware and publish them for ds owners
Game works perfectly on R4 Wood 1.07 with the patch.
This is a compilation of 30 games , you start with 4 games available and 60K of GP.
Games are unlockable via shop (menus are all in english , but instruction are not but they are straightforward ) and each game cost 30K (the robot game from the video isn't there at first).
You have 4 categorizes of games: Puzzle (6 games), Shooting (7 games), Action (10 games) and Sports (7 games).
Each game has "Targets" (think achievements) which earn you GP to buy more games and customization for your avatar.
