Wow! Lupin.
Looks interesting. I really miss this anime series.

Edit : Need a fix / patch to play this. Otherwise, the game will loop through the intro. (At least for R4, don't know about other carts.)

I was also toying with creating a cheat for it too which seems to have worked. You can use this file if your card supports usrcheat.dat files

Odd in my Acekard the game loads (you have to hold X or it will fail initially) but once you're in it loops to the intro screen after the first cutscene.

Ok i used an already patched version with rr, that's why it doesnt run the process. Now i tried with the original, why it creates a bak file?

Thanks, it works on R4 now.

It's a very nice game indeed. Like you mix Exit DS and Professor Layton together and add the fun from Lupin's characters. (One of the mini games let you blow into the microphone to sneak peek Fujiko's panties, then you have to answer what color she's wearing.

i applied the patch as doyama says, and changed bak files into nds file (removing .bak extension) but it still doesnt work for me. It shows black screen and nothing happens. I've m3ds real

I think the bak file is the original file backup. You should copy over the nds file it creates instead.

The bak file is the original file.

I am not sure about others but I had an issue when I was running the patched game. I am using an AK2i and it is running AKAIO 1.5.1. I was able to reach stage 2 at most and at times when the game is trying to autosave, it often hangs and it will then corrupt the current save file. As a result, I will have to restart from stage one again. Did any AK users encounter the same issue? BTW, the music in the game is definitely a Lupin fan treat.

With the AKAIO you probably need to press and hold X every time you play the game, or the game doesn't save properly. I'm surprised you didn't run into that issue initially when you boot the game and it hangs on the save game creation.

The patching only gets you around the AP which loops back to the intro when you start the game. The AKAIO requires you to hold and press X to start the game properly which disables DMA mode (I think...). Perhaps there is some similar feature on your M3DS that would get you past the black screen.
