lol... something tells me ill stick with monster hunter
This summer, unlock the ology of your DRAGON!
ewwww.... not my kind of game, isnt this based off a book anyways?
Reminds me a little of the book, Flight of the Dragons. They made a cartoon of it many years ago. It was basically an encyclopedia of Dragons, done completely seriously and backed up with "factual information" (factual if the Dragons existed) - apart from not actually having them walk the Earth the biology and science in the book was all solid.
Dragonology is a book, and a quite entertaining one at that.
i love dragons i might take a look at this
^ Me too.
Since it says "GENRE: Action" then I'm going to try it out.
Is that a lizard?
Is this like Endless Ocean where you just interact with Dragons discover new species?
I like dragons, so I might try this out.
there are many dragon games but not all have the concept of war or similar...the narrator kinda reminded me of the ff10 npc tht narrated the history of Sin and Calm
i tried the game once before and its more like minigames with a story eg. collect bones and remains and then the dragon and finally capturing it... all things to be done with the touchscreen... kinda like the nintendo dragon game (fossil fighters was it?) in which u had to examine bones and create dragons hence same concept in this game thru out ... no combat as far as i know
Are you sure? I only saw the animated film but it was NOTHING like that at all. More like a Dragon/human body merge adventure...
Uhm... the "factual information" in that book is as broken as it gets. Please don't label that solid even if it is intended to be a joke to begin with.
@shakirmoledina: No game like that on the NDS. What you mean is a dinosaur game. The only game where you could collect dragons with eggs of some sort has been this Japanese game... sound spirits... or something like that. Broken gameplay and boring as hell. Thank god this book crap is as far away from real dragons as it can get ( from a scientific point of view ).
@XWolf: I don't think that movie has been based on the book. It just shared the same title as the book. The drawing style though is similar. Not sure if the same artist had been involved. Content wise though the two are totally different as one is a pure fantasy story ( the movie ) while the other tries to play this "pseudo science" card which is so overused nowadays it ain't funny anymore.
A pass for me on that game. I prefer working on a real game with dragons. Much better result in the end
This took awhile to come out......
i remember the line of 'olgy' books all made by the same company, IIRC the Dragonolgy book included a 'geniuine' sample of dragon blood (they have a free 'magical' gift with each olgy book..)
Have had a play. Music restarts a bit too often on scene changes and your avatar is horrible but not a bad little game... So far...
This game sucks compared to the Wii version, where the only thing that has going for it is riding dragons and a dragon raising thing.
great game as close to information as to dragons as you could need, this is the real deal if you wanted to know about dragons you can play this game to find out real dragon information this can make you a dragon expert regardless of what anyone says.
5 stars very truthful and really helps you understand dragons.
I'd give it 4 stars because it shouldn't make you do anything that you don't do on the Wii version.
