Potentially good, if they did it right. But Reversi/Othello is enough of a standard that it's already in enough collections. Does this have enough additional quirks and game modes to make it worth while?

never played reversi or so but here is something to supplement this...
there is local wifi and some pictures in the top screen with 3d-type circles and from vgchartz "use newly invented items and attacks that can blast, shift and shuffle the enemy's"

i've never played this or anything like this before, i tried it last night, kinda confused with it (as no training option)

so if anyone could give me a few pointers i would be grateful

Hmm I think this game is a combination of Reversi/othello & Tetris Styles

Had a quick go last night, the black/white circles fall from the top of the screen rather than being placed on a board, the enemies have special moves (like reversing the colour of all the discs) and I think you get your own specials later on.

I tried the standard mode (or whatever it's called) a few times. I came away bored! It was nothing fun, just Othello with falling pieces. Maybe the advanced mode will be worth playing.
