Because 1 boring (old style) board game on 1 game cartridge is worth while? I'm pretty sure everyone who sees this in stores would skip it for club house games, which includes ludo.

Wow... an entire game just for ludo? HELL people would laugh at someone making a free online flash game about ludo.. let alone an entire DS release...

Ya, I don't know if I'd pay 30$-40$ (CDN) for this game, but after having played it for a while, I think it's alright. 2 modes of play, nice graphic representation, very user friendly and a nice, quick drop-in game. I have very fond memories of playing this board game as a kid with my grandparents, which may make me a little bias, but I've seen far worse games on NDS.
