That's cos Granville has "authority" to post official releases, while normal members like us can only post in the USN section.

Also the release numbers are screwed up.

Hope they also did make a DS version of NFS Shift, ha ha. Anyway, trying out this game, hope its worth it while waiting for the C.O.P. fix.

One of the better DS racers out there but nothing special. Can't say I like the slowdown, ruins things for me. You can tell it only exists to sell off the very good Wii version.

Asphalt GT 2 is a better racer for me.

Seems pretty nice, but I had to kill the horrid music. That noise got on my nerves real quick.

Yeah, I've never liked the music in any of the NFS games. EA's got some bad taste when it comes to that. But yeah, I'm with Hadrian, as far as DS racers go. Matter of fact, Asphalt 2 is still on my card. It's a guilty pleasure sort of thing, but I really like its arcade racing style. I'll give this one a go, though.

After doing a few races I can say this game is fun. The music is certainly different but I don't mind it at all. Too bad it ain't wifi

I bet the music will be different for the US release. Seeings how most of the music I have heard so far on this version are UK artist like DIZZEE Rascal..... Or maybe not, just found the Sound track.

Artist - Song
Alex Metric - "What Now"
Bloody Beetroots feat. Cool Kids - "Awesome"
Crookers feat. Wiley and Thomas Jules - "Business Man"
Crystal Method feat. LMFAO - "Sine Language"
Danko Jones - "Code of the Road"
Dizzee Rascal and Armand Van Helden - "Bonkers"
Drumagik - "Make It Rock"
Earl Greyhound - "Oye Vaya"
edIT feat. Wale and Tre' - "Freaxxx"
Evil 9 - "All the Cash (Alex Metric Remix) Feat. El-P"
Hollywood Holt - "Can't Stop"
k-os - "FUN!"
Lady Sovereign - "I Got You Dancing"
Major Lazer feat. Mr.Lex & Santigold - "Hold the Line"
Matt & Kim - "Daylight (Troublemaker Remix)"
Mickey Factz - "Yeah Yeah"
Pint Shot Riot - "Not Thinking Straight"
Placebo - "Breathe Under Water"
Rise Against - "Kotov Syndrome"
Roots Manuva - "Buff Nuff"
Rye Rye - "Hardcore Girls"
Street Sweeper Social Club - "Fight! Smash! Win!"
Taking Back Sunday - "Lonely Lonely"
The Enemy UK - "No Time For Tears"
The Gay Blades - "O Shot (Dmerit Remix)"
Two Fingers feat. Sway - "Jewels And Gems"

why the hell did it come out in Europe first before japan, even? (EDIT: i know why! its cause they wanna beta test the game on the Europeans xD) when is the USA release date? I couldn't wait for this game. But I have a strict law to wait until a game gets a USA dump before I put it on my cart.

That's also because Granville uses grammar.

Meh, looks alright, but I'm downloading COP first.

EDIT: Oops, double posted.

So, gave it a run. My impressions:

- Navigating menus and stuff isn't nearly as organized or as sleek as Dirt 2.
- Controls are pretty tight. Drifting is odd though; pressing the Drift button will almost turn your car 90 degrees immediately. Takes some getting used to.
- Framerate is kinda slow. Bummer
- Graphics are alright

I'd still take Dirt 2 over this anyday.

Drifting isn't that hard to get used to, at least not for me. Basically, you hit the L button, turn the car until it's pointing in the direction you want, then let go of L. Simple. Only took me going around maybe 3 turns to get the hang of drifting down-pat. Only takes a little coordination.....you young whippersnappers should have better coordination than an old fart like me.

The levels I hate are the ones where you're supposed to bash the "breakables" in a certain mount of time. I's hates bein' timed!

This game reminds me of Clash King quite a bit, but Clash King actually seems like the better game......at least it will be when the USA version comes out (which will be called Sideswiped) and I can read what's going on. They both are basically the same thing, but Nitro is kinda tame compared to Clash King. Still, I like NFS Nitro better than any of the other NFS games on DS. I consider this among the top echelon of racing games on the DS at this point.
