Sweet! This will make up for Ninty stupidly canceling DS Air. All I need now is Crash King and I'll be set.

Anyone who says this sucks on the DS must like the cutesy crap that's been released recently instead. I'm looking at you Sario & Squigi and Poopiemon.

I guess I picked the wrong place to make my comments [IMG] I kinda thought the thread would make more sense in the actual DS forum hehe.

Regardless, not everyone worships RPG designs.

There just hasn't been many flight games, and of the ones already released, well Spitfire Heroes was crap like we already know.

IL 2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey is refreshing, in that at first glance it is not appearing to be more of the same old crap.

And let's face it, just because you can make a game do well on a console dripping with muscle doesn't mean it will be doable on the DS. But this game appears to be able to do the DS just fine.

Of course if you just plain don't like flight sims, nothing about this game is going to excite you, just like any game where the name begins with Imagine is not going to be worth shit to me either.

The tutorial in this is pretty shit, there are no directions on how to fly the plane and land it. I was flying around the tutorial route, and just ended up crashing the plane on the "tarmac".

I may try again if I'm bored enough [IMG]

I realy think the console versions are much better. It's a game by a Russian developer, you see, so the console gamer community in my country was following this one closely. The developers claim they had to block a lot of content in the DS version (like much better plane physics and radio talks during missions) on the demand of the publisher, 505 game street, who thought it unnesessary for an average DS user. They even claim the content is still there, in the ROM. Anyway, the PS3/Xbox 360 version are staple ones and were developed by a far more experienced studio.
