Seems intriguing, but the reviews are pretty terrible because it's too short. And there's a PC version which is probably better.
I was hoping for a Hotel Dusk type of game.

i duno, sometimes short is just the right length. it depends on the free time i have to put into a game, of which i don't have much these days. it looks pretty from that screen shot, i'll have to give this one a try.

Is it like "Professor Layton and the curios village"

I seriously need one like that.

I remember the European version of this getting raving comments because of its rating. I think it was "3+"

It's not short it's too long because it's really really bad.

No I highly doubt that. The only games that are like Professor Layton and the Curious Village are the Professor Layton sequels, which aren't released in the U.S. yet.

Played through the European version, and it had a complete walkthrough built into the game. Anyone know if it's the same for this version?

Played the Europe version a while back and yeah its another cheap PC adventure game port.

I think Runaway was the only one that was worth playing, wonder what happened to the sequel to that that was supposed to be coming.
