Uhm... Isn't this exactly the same than Cradle of Rome only that it 'plays' in Egypt? oO"
I mean I love the game but couldn't even finish the first one, neither on my DS nor on my PC... ^^
I'm stuck onl Lv76 or something with the PC version...

I played Cradle of Rome until stage 80ish.

The problem with that game was you build all structures around stage 55~60 and yet the game wants you to beat stage 100. BORING.

Only if these had some worthwhile upgrades...

I played a bit of Rome but didn't like it.

Egypt so far has been worlds better. I'm at level 30 right now, and the way they set up how you complete a level ("clear all blue blocks by matching 3 over them, then move a scarab to a ledge") gives you a bit of strategy, too, since you can delay the clearing of a level to rack up resources.

I wanted a good Bejeweled clone and this is as close as it's gotten so far.

bejeweled is very fun but it gets tiring after some days of play which is normal but this is worth a shot for it's nature... bejeweled revolutionised the puzzle game

Last time I checked their was some compilation of Jewel Quest-like games or something. Jewel Quest: Expedition, maybe?
