Awesome can't wait to try this.
Orge and Human?
it seems interesting
Looks interesting. Is it football or rugby? Can I see some screens?
This and Talisman were two of the greatest RPG type board games of the 80's. Please don't let this tarnish the memories.....(although i expect that it will)
its maybe not like it on DS but i rly like the game
I swear Games Workshop had a Warhammer 40k board game called Blood Bowl for a brief time. And the ogre kind of looks like a 40k ogre.
Anyone know if this is anything to do with Warhammer?
it does soudn good though
and based on Warhammer !!
thats 2 bases that r belong to us
turn-based? warhammer? superbowl? wtf. Someone please explain. Is this game good? Lolz. I must admit, it sounds unique and interesting. Have to try it when I get home from school.
Now we know where Sportacus went after LazyTown.
I don't get it.
I was really excited for a bit, when I thought this was a new Mutant League Football. Oh well...
I used to love playing the Blood Bowl board game! It was a LONG game game to play. It took hours! The computer game wasn't bad though. A lot faster play. I hope this version is good.
I was let down a bit as well still looks quite enjoyable though so I'm still gonna give it a go
yeah, this is based off the games workshop blood bowl. i'm still waiting for the PC version to be cracked. as you can see from the trailer there's humans, orks and sauren. unsure about how this would play though :S
Apparently the hand held versions are turn based with the PC and xbox360 versions having an additional real time mode. It's supposed to replicate the board game accurately.
I'll check this out. I actually play Orks in the Warhammer 40K game so maybe I can make my Blood Bowl players look a little like my army. Either way, it looks good and 'Orky', running around smashing people in the face.
My friend bought the pc version and is absolutly loving it. This game is a spritual sequal to the Chaos League games for pc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaos_League) which he was a huge fan of aswell.
While I never played it I remember Blood Bowl ads in Dragon Magazine back in the mid-to-late 80's. I'm excited to finally get to play it, even if it's on my DS and not using the super-slick minis.
...if I dig it I may have to troll eBay to find the original tabletop version to play with my D&D buddies...
