    It's been awhile since there was a DS release I might actually like. Gonna check this out as soon as I backup my Cyclo's SD.

    My guess is this will play like the hundreds of Tower Defense web browser games that exist. Monsters walk along a path, you set up turrets around the path to blow them away. In waves, more, tougher monsters come along and you have to upgrade your turrets to continue mowing them down. It continues until a set number of monsters get passed your defenses, then game over. At least, that's been my experience with Tower defense games. I'm hoping this is the same.....don't see why it wouldn't be. Those games can be pretty fun if you can get into them.

    This game is in my top 5 DS games. If you liked Ninja Town then you will love this one.

    That describes the game EXACTLY. I've been playing it for the past half hour. It amuses.

    I wish they made tower defense games like Field Runners for the iPhone. Instead of following the path, you create your own and delay or slowly kill off enemies as they walk throughout your defenses.

    How does this compare to Warcraft Tower Defense for the DS?

    And at only 8 MB, I think this game is the new N+ [IMG]

    That's a good question. I never played Ninja Town. Is that game a tower defense type of game too? {goes and looks up some reviews...}

    You know, I thought this game would have better graphics to be honest. I played a few tower defense and the graphics were MUCH better and there were actual paths that the monsters ran along. Why didn't they use one of those instead of this relatively simple version?

    The idea is that you have to build your own paths by placing towers.
    If you play the harder modes you'll see how much this effects the way you play.

    Why the hell did they call it Desktop Tower Defense? I mean, I can completely understand that for the PC version, but it seems a bit of a misnomer on the DS.

    It does make sense... oh wait, it doesn't. There's original flash version for PC available. Yeah, powered by google.
