I can see how this would actually work!
Does it come with a stylus shaped like a broom?
I guess this gives Canadians something to do this summer until the ponds freeze again.
What WON'T Ubisoft do to further exploit the DS?
Fucking Brutal!!! I think we are supposed to get ds motion and curl our ds's. Hope it won't break. JK lol
lol thats one of the more "tragic" covers, it just screams bargin bin
I am totally stoked. This is a really good, natural fit for a DS game. Too bad it will probably suck.
On a pond.
Watch out, the fourth's got a hammer!
OH, is this the Curling DS that came out in Japan like, 3 years ago? If so it's a decent game, if you're into curling.
I know there's a rule against one-word posts, but really, his/her reply really nails it.
But wait a second...wtf is this exactly? Curling, as in weight lifting? Curling, as in curling your hair?
You'd have thought that Ubisoft would have at least requested that the developer allow the player to change the team.
I can see the box art has a Canadian theme, but would it have killed them to let us choose another country?
I mean I love Canada, some of my friends are even Canadian. I'm tolerant. I'll even let Canadians eat in my Restaurant, as long as they keep quite and sit in the corner at the back by the toilets. The way I see it, at least they're not Australian. [/racism]
Man if this is how you guys treat curling, I'm afraid what's going to happen when they finally dump Fishing Master.
I too am stoked about this, and am hoping it is good.
Curling is a fantastic sport, fun to watch (especially live, you get some fun crowds) and fun to play.
I can really imagine some 7-year old putting this on his wishlist....the kind of 7-year old that gets shoved into a locker every morning by the kids who got Super Robot Taisen OG Saga for THEIR b-day.
Yes, this is the same game as Nippon Curling Kyoukai Kounin - Minna no Curling DS.
Firstly I thought there were no "one word" posts, utterly pointless and in my opinion its just a way of getting the first post (which some people still seem to think means something )...
Secondly, haven't got round to getting this one yet, but I am glad at least some companies are trying different types of games than the expected or the norm. Regardless if this turns out good or bad kudos to them for actually giving it a punt on the market and seeing how it goes.
When I saw this game, I was thinking you should yell into the DS microphone to keep rhythm for your team, like real curling
