Something tells me that this won't really teach people much.

Seriously if you want to learn Japanese, none of these titles will do it right or as effective.

Considering how horrible the Amazon reviews for the learn German, and French games were, this one should be equally awful. I recommend "My Japanese Coach" though. Sure, it won't beat out taking actual classes at college or HS, but its a good way to "test the waters". Here's hoping a secondary level of that is released some day, as they did with Spanish, and French. Anyway, avoid this piece of crap.

ohai guyz! Like can we undub this? srsly the dubbing sux0rz.

Wonder if this is the same as that other earlier cart released in the US. Forgotten the title since I have asymptotically approaching zero interest in it...

This title may work for (pre-teen) kids, but for adult learners there are much better alternatives. (I'm not talking about My Japanese Coach - there are some pretty fundamental problems with that).

I tried the German one, and wasn't impressed. I will be trying it anyway but don't have high hopes.

This thing is crap. It doesn't teach you anything but words.
Yes, words. Nouns, adjectives. That stuff. It doesn't tell you how to use it. I mean, this game might be good for people who can speak some basic japanese but for people who can't speak japanese, this isn't the best thing out there. :\
