Its a pretty good side scrolling game reminiscent of Shinobi. You have a nice assortment of weapons/moves, you can run VERY fast, and walk up walls and stuff. I enjoyed it, but some of the bosses take a lot of skill to beat. (which is always a good thing IMO) Overall I was impressed.

Kinda surprised that Square-Enix localized it, even though Taito made the game.

I guess Square-Enix in Europe want to be like Altus. Considering Persona 4 is being published by Square-Enix for Europe.

They just published it. Taito has been a subsidiary of Square Enix since 2005.

I liked the game, although it's short. I beat it in 4 hours. The last boss is way cool, though.

Interesting. Didn't learn this till reading it here. Usually I hate the sound of mergers, but I read on wiki that this has helped Taito be able to branch out more. Good for them.

More precisely it came out in the arcades in 1984. The Famicom version didn't come out till 86', with the NES following in 87'.

The original Arcade game was good but only if you have fond memories of it, the NES version wasn't good whatever your memory. This game was great for me, finished the Japanese version and then finished the North American release.

If you like old school games grab this.
