Yeesh, can you say low budget? I've seen nicer looking homebrew. how much would it have really cost them to polish up the looks a bit? It's not like they spent a lot of time on the game engine either, it's a quite simple concept.

With games like this graphics play a very small part. Its about getting the gameplay, control system and a range of puzzles.

I remember playing something like this a long time ago.. and that sucked really bad. I found that game to be really hard to figure out where the colors would be added, because it wasn't that old number+space+number.. it could be color1+color2+space+color1 or anything... hideous... and by the screens: The backgrounds are very amateur-ish

Wow, just tried this game. I can tell you it's bad, bad, bad!!

I thought this game would be good seeing it's similar to Picross (one of my favourite games). How wrong was I? Well, it's Picross in a way but the style and controls are just bad. The moving background are very distracting.

Like Issac said, it's very amateur-ish, an amateur-ish attempt to grab some quick bucks.

Stay away from this game if you want to keep your good Picross memories. It destroyed mine!

Free suggestion: also get Essential Sudoku. It contains a lot of these puzzles (also in color)

That's just how it works with multiple colors. You can't use the same approach, it requires new ones.
