Wasn't that slingshot version just some licensed game? There are two Puzzle Bobble games on the DS besides this one, I believe the previous Taito-made Puzzle Bobble was played traditionally.

well the slingshot one is Bust-a-Move DS, aka Hippatte Puzzle Bobble .. it was published by Taito in Japan at least, although it was developed by Happy Happening. Puzzle Bobble DS was the traditional style one, released in japan only, developed by ... someone else

We can see the end of Taito's Paddle Controller support here, with Space Puzzle Bobble.

Or you could shoplift it. That's free too.

As for the game, used to love this when I had it on the PS, really starting to enjoy it again.

Yeah I know. I didn't mean download, I actually meant physically stealing it. I was just giving people extra alternatives for the festive holidays. [IMG]

Well, giving Japanese people an alternative anyway. Price of an return airfare to the Land of the Rising Sun, just to light-finger a DS game, is a little steep.

[IMG] However, we must remember, that here at GBATemp, we believe that any form of stealing is bad. Every-time you steal something, even from the net, a panda dies in the wild. [IMG]

I haven't tried it yet but the paddle is supposed to work with this game. As far as I know this is the only game playable with the paddle together with Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid DS. All TAiTO products btw.
