The first one was cute and had some mildly enjoyable stuff there, but it was lackluster. I saw a screenshot, though, of one of the MySims rafting, so I gotta at least check it out. There was also a mention that you could perhaps build things in this one like you could in the last Wii version. I don't remember being able to do that in the last DS version, so that might be enough to make this one a winner, overall.

I love MySims on the wii and cant wait to get this one for Wii but the DS one made me want more. Does this one give you more options and a better story than the first one?

Guys , loved the first one and no jokes i played like 8 hours straight of that game, almost clocked it even though u can clock sims game, but finished all the quests ,helps etc..

I strongly suggest that you guys play this game for at-least and hour before decideing, cause the first one i plyed a little then just almost deleted it,but i thought i should carry on and i did and then i found it was a great fun game!..

I hope this dosent let the first one down!..I think my-sims was the only Good "Sims" game on the ds!..

Guys pls try this a hour before deciding

Ok, I played more. It's a lot of the same... not nearly as bad but I still find it to be meh. 'Cept for Dr. F. He made the opening awesome. And that weird australian guy? wtf? He threw so many europe-y words at me I didn't know what to do. Only one I remember is quid because I actually know what that is... the rest was complete jibberish. Anyway~ it was fun 'til Dr. F started sobering up

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
