If this game is anywhere as bad as the Wii game,
I'm not going to touch it with a 10foot stick.
Not even worth my bandwidth.
Sad really, since I like the Anime so much.
Anime is good but is the game good?
Dunno if it's good, famitsu score was 23/40... not so much...
3D, movement and jumping are with buttons while attacking is with stylus movements(like ninja gaiden)
examples: tapping is normal combo attack, 1 circle is round attack(hits all enemies around the character)
tapping the soul meter(which measures how well the souls of the weapon and master/meister are aligned) if alignment is 100% activates soul resonance(continuously reduces alignment but increases stats)
round attack during soul resonance effect does a special which deals massive damage to all enemies on screen.
still testing some stuff, since the menu is difficult to understand.
EDIT:seems they used the storyline of the anime.
I watched the first episode of the anime today, seems pretty cool, I'll try this game as soon as I catch up with the anime, to avoid spoilers.
The genre says RPG and the description thedicemaster wrote sounds more like an action game.
How much RPG element is there?
all i can tell is that it's less of an rpg than soma bringer.
best i can compare it with is star wars the force unleashed combined with ninja gaiden.
Souls are very low in protein and not very nutritious
LOL~! was the wii release that bad?
used to like the manga... but it is too long winded~! until i decided to give up
Ah well... I've never watched the anime and there are some Japanese RPG releases recently, I guess I can just let this slip.
i still think it's a nice game, tough it would be best on a DSphat(lite feels like i'm breaking the D-pad) in english
looked into the game with a korean rom hacker.
Lots of graphics. a LOT.
