It was a Mojo Mistake to develop this game, by the looks of it. [IMG]

There was one of these Tak games I played on DS some time back, and parts of it were actually really good. But there were also too many frustrating things that were tacked on that made me eventually put the game down. I'll try this one. I'm always up for another 3D platformer. Who knows...could be good. This game seems pretty good so far, though I've only played though one quest after the tutorial part at the beginning. The graphics are good by DS standards, and the gameplay is pretty good. You also don't get led around by the nose all the time, which I really like. You can do quests in any order you want, and it's up to you to find the quest objective and complete it. There's an alchemy system (similar to Dragon Quest; gather ingredients and combine them) for creating and upgrading weapons and casting spells.

Don't dismiss this game just because JPH judged it by three screenshots.

And...you're seriously not going to try the game because some GBAtemp staff member thinks the game might not be good? [IMG] You should really play it for yourself and make your own judgement.

Anyways, I can never pass up a platformer. Hope it's descent.

Not that I'm prejudiced or anything, but given Tak's terrible track record, I don't think I'll waste my time with this.

It's likely no one's yet played enough of either game to make a comparison. I did, however, put in a few hours with the JuJu game, and it was a really decent 3D platformer. It was the kart racing and other useless, almost broken elements that made me give up on the game. Hopefully, this new Tak game will be more of the same without all that ridiculous crap that got crammed into JuJu to try to extend the length of the game. I'd, of course, rather have a short but fun 3D plaformer than an extra couple of hours of frustration.

Why are people asking if it's good when we all have equal access to it?

I thought the point of pirating was to judge for ourselves and form our own opinions. This has to be a new definition of lazy.
