A must buy download? Hm....
it came out in the us a few weeks/months ago
Woha, this is a quite late EU release..
isn't it like .. atleast ½ year ago Nanostray 2 US came out?
found Nanostray1 to be better than the 2nd.
It came out in March in the US
I'd say it was worth buying and this is from someone who finds that Shin'en games are just above average. Its not the best shooter ever and its certainly too easy but its worth the £10 Woolworths are selling it for.
Oh my god they've completely raped the boxart
Yes, it's defintely a must buy. If you're a shooter fan then you should have both Nanostray's in your collection(these are highly underrated in my opinion and worth the purchase). I wish they would make more shooters for the DS. If not a brand new series, then I would love to see a new Castle Shikigami be made for the DS. Those are some of the quirkiest shooters I've ever played. I think it would be a nice fit for the handheld.
I hope Ketsui Death Label from Arika/Cave stays up to my high hopes!
It will be released this moth!
Nanostray 2 is defenetly not bad.
ok thanks for the remark~! i will give this game a try~!
SHOOT EM UPS not SHOOTERS for fucks sake !!!
this guy needs anger management.
They're the same thing dumb ass now go read a book
Yeah, much like Rock music and Heavy Metal are the same thing. Everyone knows that.
There both the same still it bugs me that idiots these keep calling FPS games Shooters when there techicaly not.
Any way this is my favorite shoot em up on the Ds not like it has much Competistion all they is is Nanostray and Underwater Attack that was to easy once you fully powered up. Never fully beaten Nanostray 2 yet though completed all the challenge stages though.
Let's see. 'Shooter' is usually used to talk about games involving guns in general, while "shoot'em up" is a specific type of shooter, one that usually works in 2D, with side-scrolling movement. In this category we find games like Nanostray, Ikaruga, Galaga, etc, all of which could be considered space shoot'em ups. We have "person-based" shoot'em ups, like Contra or Metal Slug, which involved jumping and dodging bullets on a ground-based level, so they are commonly called "run and gun" too.
Doom, Rainbow Six, Quake, Counter-Strike, Nanostray... all shooters, but from different subgenres. Like rock music is an umbrella term that consists of heavy metal, classic rock, acid rock, glam rock, punk rock...
Seriously, people, calm down. There's no need to curse nor flame for such a silly argument...
