DS #2534: Windy X Windam (Japan)

I just played the game for about 15 minutes. So far just the controls alone are turning me off.

Unlike the Bleach games, this actually uses diagnols for special moves, making it really hard to do certain moves on the DS lite dpad. What's really wierd is that instead of double tapping forward or back to dash, you need to press the L/R button. Jumping feels really unresponsive since you can't keep the Up button held and expect to automatically keep jumping. Combo system feels awkward and a bit too lenient. I nearly got a 30 hit combo going with Kirikou by randomly mashing X and Y after I landed a level 2 super.

Overall, this game could've been a bit more polished.

How's that weird? MK3/UMK3 has the same setup for running (aka dashing).

did anyone unlock any characters yet?
beat the battle mode once, but unfortunately it didn't unlock a character.
EDIT:ok, found out how to unlock izuna.
beat battle mode on hard once.

I try this game and throw it away after exactly 2 minutes. Awfull graphic, animation, gameplay... bleach2 is still the best 2D-fighting game (and after bleach1) !!!
For me doesn't worth the download...
