Can't find a thing about the DS version, but here's a rundown of Matching Maker 2 on the PS2

Sounds like a cross between Sim City and animal crossing where the city you build is influenced by the type of people you befriend (mixed in with some heavy duty product placement.)

you can see on the cover it's matching maker. there's the kanji (presumably for "match) followed by the english letters "ing" then the katakana for "maker"
