Nice to see this release but as Truliche says, i'm guessing you won't get some of the fiddly parts with proper explanation.

I'm gonna play this for sure, since this is so highly recommended by some people I know.

It'll be my first Disgaea game, so I'll hope it's good as what I've heard.

I thought that Hour of Darkness was for PS2 and that they called it "Afternoon of Darkness" for PSP...

nevermind.

Yay anyway! Lots of new characters and local multiplayer...too bad it's not in english, and that my normal sources are without it as for now.

INCORRECT title.

Should be:
Makai Senki Disgaea : Makai no Ouji to Akai Tsuki

Hour of Darkness is the PSP one.

The PSP one is Afternoon of Darkness.

But the DS port of the game has everything the PSP port has and even more extras like Pleinair being playable.

The english version is confirmed. They've released a trailer and I believe that it's coming in September.

I have never seen the appeal of this game. There is no freaking strategy to this, you just power level like mad and have one over leveled character beat the living snot outta everything that lives. How is that strategic?

*Notice: The creator of said post is only going off what he has seen his freaking roommate and friend play nonstop over a period of two months at one point.

The strategy is actually in the power leveling, if you do it wrong you get your ass kicked easily.

The differences from the psp version are

Smaller screen size
No texture filter
Slightly different transparent blending
More organised menus
Touch control
A minimap
Pleinair is playable

all the stuff from the PSP version is in, and there's some other new stuff, too.
