My first DS post
I'm confused, why bother posting this here? Besides, this is supposed to be a crap game.
I used the Release Management Centre and automaticly it comes in User submitted news

There it goes.
There, I said it!
I've never watched the show of this nor do I know anything about it but I played the first game and it was very good. Not AAA but it had original ideas and some nice features, especially in the battle system and monster creation.
If this title is tuned up a bit and has had the annoying problems fixed or removed that were in the first game, it should be a very good game indeed.
Will give it a try later (so much to play!) and post my impressions.
It certainly isn't a 'crap' game.
The first game was actually very good and well done. I was surprised. Im sure this one will be just as good, if not better.
Update: OK, I kinda take that back! This game is way different. The other one was 3D and you had to explore to get where you needed to go, so far this one has just a little sprite that you move around a plain landscape, and when you run into a monster it starts a turnbased fighting scene (you click on the character you want to use, you choose the weapon or hit you want them to do, choose the monster you want to hit, and they do the move themselves), kind of like pokemon or Blue Dragon on the Xbox? So far, it really sucks to me. I haven't gotten far, so I don't want to say for sure, but so far I am very disappointed.
i find the battles themselves most comparable to FF7, FF6advance, FFIVds etc.
while the encounter system is a lot like with lotr the fellowship GBA(come close to the physical image of a monster and it's "party" goes into a fight with you)
First game was definitely an underrated, quality title. It'll be interesting to see how they have followed it up.
This one reminds me of Pac-Man. Although there are slight differences: This doesn't have dots, or mazes, or ghosts...and no pacman, and it's nothing like the first - which as Solange mentioned previously- no more 3D perspective. Still, I'm willing to give it a bit more time before I vomit a final impression.
The first one sucked. Don't kid yourself.
so... it sucks does it??
No it isn't a crap game. You'll understand it once you watch the TV Show...never, EVER accuse games.
