Before anyone asks, the Jap save isn't compatible with this version.

they did a good job with the sounds/music.
the sound effects blend in with the BGM so well that it sounds as if it's a rhythm/music game. (only tried arcade so far, to see if it's worthy of a spot on my main microSD)

It freezes on the first boss on R4 firmware 1.18. It's just the boss and it keeps happening the same way.

    Anyone else experience this problem?

Love this game but the US version seems to randomly lock on my M3 real. Is it just mine doing this... Oh and not much difference but this is the US boxart

Awesome game indeed but I'll stick to my Japanese version seeing that all my scores and that are on it.

Seeing as the Japanese release was entirely in English anyway, there isn't much point in this if you've already got the original (esp. if these "lock up" reports are accurate).
