Yeah, awesome game!
I like this cover more than the US one.
We still haven't figured out how Nintendo handled slot2 support in Korean DS games, as no first-party GBA title ever was released there.
Which means for instance... Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue came out in Korea, but not Red. And Diamond/Pearl, but not R/S/FR/LG/E.
Finally. Korea deserves this.
I think Ninteno Korea was established in July 2006, and started selling DS in 2007.
So I'm guessing they've been playing Japanese versions for the last 2 and half decades. (And also US versions for region free systems, which is pretty much most of Nintendo hardwares)
Edit: Considering it took Nintendo Korea 14 months to localize (that'd mean translating the text to Korean?) Tetris DS. Localization of Zelda was INSANELY fast.
Don't forget, Korea has Maple Story DS, and we don't
I've heard Maple Story DS is due out in Summer 2008, just in time for summer break of elementary schools =P
Im sure there was some laziness here and there.
It's not getting released outside Korea.
I agree. There probably are a number of Chinese or Japanese speakers in Korea.
Its Japaneses speakers. Why? Because during WW2, Japan invaded Korea, forcing us to learn japanese.
did anyone ever notice that the games that come out in korea are usually just the good ones?
well maybe that's all you notice. When you see some shovelware you probably don't bother to read the region it's released in.
or the dumpers don't bother buying shovelware in Korea so they just put out the good stuff.
I believe Nintendo Korea isn't doing good business in terms of software thanks to R4.
So they only localize big titles like Pokemon, Zelda, Mario, Animal Crossing, Brain Training...
MSDS is supposed to be out in 2008 according to Min Kim.
I can't wait any more T.T
nice its good that they did! they can play japanese ds games!
Nice. I've always wondered what the Koreans could add to an already awesome game.
wtf? only 512Mbit? -.-
Lucky you =]
Yes. Attach rate in Korea is less than 1 software to 1 hardware.
