The next one will be a gynecologist simulation.

You guys are too much! You almost had me laughing to the point of tears.... This leads me to a Q: what about a post for photoshopped/fake DS games, I vaguely remember seeing one some time ago (or perhaps I'm just IMAGINING it..snicker)

I tried playing this, made absolutely no sense. It's like playing Trauma Center in Egyptian...

First you have to develop a rapport with your patient. Randomly selecting text options should get you through this part easily. Then it's time to examine the mouth.

Double tap the set of teeth icon to switch between the arches. Rotate the model to have a good look. Dark stains are decay - tap these teeth using the probe (topmost icon) to elicit a reaction; tap again to start the operation.

The basic operation is drill and fill. First, select the needle icon and select the topical anaesthetic. Rub it back and forth over the tissues until the red bar is full. Next select the injection and hold it over the gums (or bone) to fully anaesthetise the patient.

Start chipping away at the tooth with the hi-speed drill (grey coloured one) until you hit the yellowish dentine. Switch to the slow-speed handpiece at that point to minimise trauma. You want to cut away the box form outlined. Once you're done you will need to fill it up jigsaw style.

Next you have root canals. Very easy. Just go crazy until you're well into the pulp chamber. You can then select the files (third icon off the drill set) and remove the crap inside the root canals.

Crowns are a bit harder. You need to reduce the mass of filling to a stump that will fit the crown form. Trial and error here.

Pulling out teeth requires you to hook on the forceps and wiggle the tooth out of the socket.

Implants simply require you to knock some bone away (which is sooo fake) and screw the abutments and crown on.

The part with the school children: that's routine dental care. You need to examine for decay and state what kind of cavity it is. It's a bit complicated here. Just wing it.

The tests... well, if you don't understand any Japanese, you have no chance. Heck, if you know nothing about teeth, you have no chance.

This isn't really Trauma Center at all. It's just a parody of dentistry - and a budget title at that. I wouldn't touch it unless you have an interest in this sort of stuff, and some knowledge of Japanese is a must. It's pretty cute when you purposely destroy a patient's tooth, without LA... and they thank you later anyway. Haha

I hope this game comes out in English. From what I played so far it's awesome, I just wish I could understand it.
