This looks good. I remember playing this on my Master System all those years ago.
Can't wait for an English release.

Ark of Naphistim is really Ys 6, and it was released for Windows in Japan some years ago. A little later Konami did a half-assed job at porting it to the PS2, and a really bad job in porting it to the PSP. The latest new Ys game by Falcom themselves was released a little over a year ago and is called Ys Origin and is also for Windows.

Oh and yay for this release! Love Ys

Ys COMPLETE (or Ys ETERNAL, pick one!) with changes:
*A new dungeon (which changes how the events after the Shrine play out)
*A new set of equipment that is weaker than the Silver Set, but stronger than Talwarl + Large Shield + Reflex
- Defender (+32 STR)
- Ruby Shield (+30 DEF)
- Mithril Mail (+30 DEF)
*Removal of Bestiary Potion (At least, it is not where it used to be, and I never found it in the game at all)
*Addition of the Roda Tree Leaves (I never used them in the game either, so dunno if they were for anything)
*New boss for the new dungeon, Petrorex
*Normal Control or Touch Screen Control (Left Hand / Right Hand)
Normal:
D-Pad = Movement
A/Y = Attack
B (Hold) = Run
X = Use Item
R = Trigger Always Walk or Always Run
Start = Menu
Select = Options
- Change Control Type
- Return to Title

Touch Screen:
Stylus Controls Everything (run into monsters to attack, like the old days)
D-Pad UP//X = Use Item (Left Handed uses X, Right Handed uses UP. Also, moving around in the Menu is Y for Left and A for Right if you are left handed, otherwise D-Pad Left and Right for Right Handed)
Start = Menu
Select = Options
- Change Control Type
- Return to Title

Everything else is pretty much the same I suppose.
